Sometimes, slashing prices and offering enticing trade-in deals just doesn’t cut it. With the motor industry booming, an abundance of dealerships for savvy shoppers to explore, and the rise of online car shopping, getting customers to part with their cash feels tougher than ever. But hey, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible! Taking things back to basics and offering a personal touch, can make all the difference in attracting business!
Remember the good old days of car showroom open-day events? Balloons, air-dancer inflatables, and the irresistible scent of rolls and sausages in the air! These events have become rare, but determined to boost sales, Tyler decided to revive the magic at his private dealership by hosting an open-day event of his own. And guess what? He called in Hog Roast Charter House to add a sizzling twist to the day!
Our team was thrilled to help make Tyler’s event unforgettable. We arrived on-site in the early hours to prepare the whole hog, ensuring the food was ready as soon as the showroom opened. The meat was slow-roasted over a low flame until the skin was golden and crispy, with just the right amount of char. The perfectly rendered skin made for exceptional crackling, which, when combined with tender pulled pork, sage and onion stuffing, and applesauce on gluten-free buns, resulted in the ultimate crowd-pleaser.
But Hog Roast Charter House didn’t stop there! We knew we had to win over the non-meat-eaters too. So, we whipped up some mouth-watering BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls dressed in plant-based coleslaw, offering a flavour-packed alternative that had everyone feeling included.
Tyler’s open-day event was a roaring success! Customers flocked to enjoy the festivities and devour some delicious free grub, but they stayed for Tyler’s warm and personable attitude. His charm and hospitality worked wonders, leading to several motor sales on the day and sparking interest in future business from many visitors.
The event was everything it was meant to be and more. And Tyler couldn’t have achieved this success without Hog Roast Charter House’s magic touch! Our catering drew in the crowds, but it was Tyler’s charm and the personal touch that closed the deals. This event proved that sometimes, going back to basics and creating a welcoming atmosphere can make all the difference in today’s competitive market.
