This May, Grace was rewarded with a promotion in her journalism role and is now one of the senior editors at the company. This has been her goal for a while and it was wonderful to see her hard work finally pay off. To celebrate the great accomplishment, her partner organised a party at their home in Middlesex, where all of Grace’s favourite people were invited to attend. Additionally, Hog Roast Brentford was hired to cater for the occasion, which is sure to make the party even more memorable. Since several guests are plant-based, we were tasked with creating a menu with a variety of meat-free dishes alongside our classic hog, to ensure that there are plenty of dishes for every guest to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Brentford team arrived at the private venue and began preparing our dishes on-site. We started by slow-roasting the hog, which required around five hours to cook to perfection. Additionally, we prepared BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious alternative to pork. Once the main dishes were ready, they were served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing and homemade applesauce. We also provided homemade chips, halloumi and vegetable skewers, a green leaf salad, and our gourmet coleslaw. Overall, our menu had more than enough for the guests to go around and every guest was satisfied with the dishes that we had to offer. The event was a lot of fun and it was great to see everyone celebrating Grace’s success!
