Whether you’re thinking of having one of our specialty hog roasts or a spit-roasted meat like beef, lamb, turkey or chicken, our chefs and catering assistants will go the extra mile to see that you are satisfied. Nevertheless, what you might not know is that we can provide so much more than hog and spit roasts too.

Hog Roast NorthwoodWe’ve catered countless parties and events over the years so we know that variety is key and not only for personal tastes but also for special diets. If you’ve invited vegetarian, vegan or gluten-intolerant guests to your special occasion, you can be sure of them being able to enjoy our lovely food too, as we have plenty of alternative options, and if you have any other diets that need covering, just let us know so that we can make something suitable and still delicious.

On Saturday night, Hog Roast Northwood catered a 70th birthday party for Vera, who had asked us to make our sumptuous pigs in buns for her 20 guests. While we can cater hundreds of guests if needed, we can always cater much smaller numbers too, if needed. Vera had enjoyed our hog roast rolls in the past and thought that her family and friends would love them too but she also needed a gluten-free option for one. Our pigs in buns are already suitable, as long as we bring along suitable bread rolls for that guest, and when we let Vera know that her gluten-free guest could also enjoy or pieces of heaven, she was thrilled.

On the day of the milestone birthday celebration, Hog Roast Northwood arrived at Vera’s home early in the afternoon, a few hours before we would be serving, in order to set everything up and prepare and then cook the hog slowly but surely for ages. By 7pm, the guests had arrived and we had an amazing sight to behold with the centrepiece hog, and all we had to was carve off the crackling, carve the meat and cram bits of both into fresh bread rolls together with our homemade apple sauce and stuffing.
