Every parent will know the struggle of keeping the kids entertained during the school holidays, so with the Easter break here we know that many of you will be looking for a way to break up the week and give the kids something to keep them busy. For our money here at Hog Roast Notting Hill, a great way to keep the holidays fun is to put on an event for the kids complete with our catering. It could even be Easter themed, if you so choose!
We’re all hoping that the weather during the 2-week school holiday is nice and sunny so that kids can get out of the house instead of staying all cooped up. The better weather could also make for a better event for you and the kids as a Hog Roast Notting Hill team could come out and cook up a delicious barbecue out in the garden, or let you make the most of the sunshine with our Italian platters and grazing tables, perfect for a day out under the clear blue skies. If your kids enjoy Easter you could also put on a special Easter party for them with an egg hunt out in the garden while our Hog Roast Notting Hill chefs prep a special lamb or chicken roast to be in keeping with the season. Our chefs could even potentially be convinced into playing the Easter bunny for them… (but you have to ask extremely nicely to get them to play ball on that one. Believe me.).
You may of course be looking at our menus here at Hog Roast Notting Hill
and thinking that there is little here suited for the kids, but for many of our menus we do actually offer more child friendly options too. Whether that means smaller portions of the same foods you are enjoying, or less “rich” options with simplified menu instead is up to you. We find that our barbecue menu is always great for kids, but you can always make requests as you see fit to have the dining that you want this Easter holiday.
