When the clients of Hog Roast Crick’s latest event got in contact with the team the clients were unsure whether the team would cater for the event due to the venue and guest list. The 45th birthday celebration for a local man was to be held in his home and had a guest list of 10 people. The team were quick to reassure the client that they cater all events, no matter the type of venue, regardless of the size of the guest list.
The team worked with the client to come up with a menu for the event that met their budget and their needs. As the clients wanted the buffet to be available to eat from 2pm, it was decided that the Chef from Hog Roast Crick would arrive at the venue several hours prior to that time, so that everything could be made fresh on the day.
The menu was tasty and fun and included delicious dishes like: Creole Pulled Quarter of Spiced Lamb, Cajun spiced sweet potato wedges, corn cobettes and a seasonal green leaf salad. However, as a few of the guests would be children the Hog Roast Crick team decided to add two dishes especially for the younger guests. So the team also included hot dogs with soft rolls, onions and loaded fries, these were to be specially made by the Chef for the children. The clients loved this thoughtful action by the team; it reassured them that they had made the right choice by having Hog Roast Crick cater their party.
On the day of the party the Chef was happy to get straight to work, especially as he had an avid audience. The catering for the event also doubled as entertainment for the children, they loved watching the Chef hard at work. And after the food had been enjoyed by the guests the children helped the Chef to tidy away the disposable cutlery and crockery, so that he could take them away to dispose of responsibly.
The party had been an intimate, love filled event and Hog Roast Crick felt happy to have been a part of such a wonderful event.
