Things got a bit spooky for the Hog Roast Shoreditch team last week when we were asked to provide some Halloween themed corporate catering for a company event! After operating with an on-site skeleton crew (no pun intended!) for so long due to the pandemic and missing out at their usual calendar of social events over the past 18 months, the managers decided that their staff deserved a long overdue treat. Given that their office is always enthusiastically covered in Halloween decorations by the team every year, they decided that having a proper Halloween party was the way to go!
They were pleasantly surprised when they viewed Hog Roast Shoreditch’s corporate catering menus as they had not been expecting a hog roast company to be able to offer such variety, as well as fun and more informal corporate catering menus that were ideal for their needs. As they wanted their staff to let their hair down, mingle and have a good time, they opted for our BBQ buffet menu, rather than a traditional hog roast or a sit-down meal.
The fantastic flame-grilled feast that we provided included our Hog Roast Shoreditch chef’s own gourmet sausages, succulent chicken kebabs, our meaty spareribs slathered in our homemade BBQ sauce and our gourmet beef burgers. Our meat-fest of a menu certainly didn’t neglect the needs of the vegetarian and vegan staff members attending the party though, who were delighted with our BBQ jackfruit burgers and range of accompanying side salads, all freshly made at the company’s premises prior to the party.
All the staff loved the Halloween themed party and Hog Roast Shoreditch’s sizzling BBQ menu! It was obvious how much they had missed their regular social events, which are such a key part of maintaining a happy workforce, and we were thrilled to be catering for their first proper company event in almost two years.
The costumes and the décor may have been ghoulish but thanks to our sleek corporate catering menu and friendly and efficient team, the catering was far from a terrifying experience! In fact, the company we catered for loved it so much that they want to hire us again for their next event!
