When you first get the keys to your new home, the first thing you’re going to want to do after moving all your stuff in as quickly as possible is show off the place to your family and friends. After all, this collective desire is why housewarming parties were created in the first place, right? So why not embrace this age-old tradition by organising a fun-filled family get-together that won’t soon be forgotten?
If you want to ensure your party is a hit, we recommend treating your guests to some mouth-watering food, and you’ll be glad to know that at Hog Roast Braunstone Town we have just the thing you need. Simply choose from our vast selection of delicious menus which have been expertly designed to meet the needs of all occasions and budgets, and we’ll take care of the rest. Seriously, if you place a booking with us, it means no cooking, serving or even cleaning will fall on your shoulders for a whole day! Doesn’t that sound great?
One of our more recent bookings came from lovebirds Molly and Samuel, who after tying the knot last year, purchased their first-ever home earlier in the year. After months of renovations spent transforming the place into something that better reflected themselves, the pair got in touch with our team to kickstart their housewarming celebration plans.
With just 15 people on the guest list, our classic hog roast menu was an excellent choice for this close-knit celebration, but to spice up the menu, our Hog Roast Braunstone Town catering manager recommended the addition of our loaded fries side option, which Molly and Samuel loved the sound of!
When it came to the day of the party, the catering crew arrived at the client’s home bright and early to allow the hog its full cooking time. Meanwhile, they turned their focus to the side options of jalapeno, and melted cheese smothered fries, savoury stuffing and warm new potatoes in herb butter. While Molly and Samuel gave their guests the grand tour of their new digs, Hog Roast Braunstone Town lined up the condiments and dips, laid out baskets of gluten-free rolls and transferred the juicy pulled pork into chafing dishes ready to be served.
Tour complete, everyone returned to the garden where after collecting a plateful of food, they pulled up a chair and got stuck in!
