Last weekend, Hog Roast Uxbridge had the privilege of catering for a spring charity ball that was nothing short of spectacular. Organised with meticulous attention to detail by Melissa, the event unfolded seamlessly, leaving all 300 guests in awe of the evening’s extravagance and charm.
Set against the backdrop of a luxurious golf club right here in our hometown of Middlesex, the venue exuded sophistication and elegance. Melissa’s exquisite taste shone through in every aspect of the decor, from the shimmering crystal chandeliers to the dreamy purple lighting that cast an enchanting glow over the room.
As guests arrived, dressed to impress in their black-tie attire, the irresistible aroma of Hog Roast Uxbridge’s Formal Hog Roast Dining Menu greeted them, igniting their appetites and setting the stage for a culinary journey like no other. From the moment they stepped through the doors, it was evident that this would be a night to remember.
The evening kicked off with a selection of handmade canapés, expertly crafted by Hog Roast Uxbridge’s chefs. From gourmet sausages and roasted halloumi and tomato crostini to chicken liver parfait and an Indian selection, each bite was an explosion of flavours that left guests yearning for more. As they mingled and enjoyed glasses of champagne or fresh fruit juice, anticipation for the main course mounted.
When it was time to be seated, Hog Roast Uxbridge’s serving staff swiftly delivered homemade soup with crusty bread rolls, which proved to be the perfect warm-up to the gastronomic buffet. From succulent slow-roasted hog with crackling to whole-roasted free-range chicken with chipolata sausages, our menu catered to every palate. Non-meat-eating guests were treated to grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, ensuring inclusivity and variety.
Accompanying the main dishes were an array of delectable sides, including freshly prepared salads, gourmet coleslaw, and creamy dauphinoise potatoes, ensuring the guests had plenty to choose from. Guests revelled in the abundance of flavours, coming back for seconds and even thirds as they savoured every mouthful.
And to cap off the savoury spread, sticky toffee pudding and vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream satisfied every sweet tooth craving.
