Our Stunning Alfresco Standalone Menu

To enjoy a Hog Roast Wapping hog roast with a bit of a unique spin, why not treat your guests to our amazing three-course Alfresco Menu, which includes antipasti platters to start, a hog roast with various sides, and then two homemade desserts are served at the end as well. We have several standalone menus on offer, including our Southern Slow Roast, Loaded Fries and Traditional Barbecue, but our Alfresco is a great way for you and your guests to dine in style but in an informal way, as it’s a mouthwatering option that gives you your theatrical hog roast centrepiece along with so much more, so read on to find out more about this gorgeous feast.

First of all, the Alfresco starter is served to the seated guests, and on the generous platters, you’ll see a selection of fine Italian meats, cheeses and breads, such as salami, Parma ham, Parmagiano, mozzarella, Gorgonzola, ciabatta, focaccia and breadsticks, along with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. Everyone gets to help themselves but make sure to leave room for the main course that comes with no less than four sides, as well as pudding of course!

Hog Roast WappingAfter it’s sizzled to perfection over several hours, your Hog Roast Wapping hog roast main is served buffet-style, complete with crackling and our homemade duo of apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, as well as a selection of leaves with bell peppers, spring onion and cucumber, a heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad with basil and sea salt, our homemade gourmet coleslaw in a lemon mayo and a potato dish which you decide on in advance – either buttered new potatoes in chives or roasted new potatoes with garlic and rosemary. You also choose your two homemade desserts when you book, too, from profiteroles, summer pudding, cheesecake, lemon tart and chocolate torte, and either way, they’re served with cream, and the perfect end to a perfectly delicious meal.
