In Middlesex, there is a bustling community centre that hosts a wide variety of events for locals to enjoy, including sports games, craft activities, movie nights, and tasty meals. The centre is run by a team of volunteers who want to make the community an inclusive and friendly place to be, which is why all of the events are donation-based. This June, Hog Roast Acton has been hired to serve a delicious hog roast at the centre for the guests to enjoy, with a few additional dishes to create a well-rounded and tasty evening buffet. Our catering manager Darren was looking forward to working at the centre as it is sure to be fun to meet so many members of the community.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Acton team arrived at the venue and set up our catering station in the car park. We began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection, before it was expertly carved by our chef. Additionally, we also served succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, we also served homemade chips and a selection of fresh salad dishes to create a varied and balanced evening meal. Overall, our menu was a great treat and was enjoyed by guests of all ages!
