Something different for your next event – Hog Roast Harrow on the Hill

Hog Roast Harrow on the Hill introduced Antipasti boards a few years ago to the menu and they have been a popular choice for buffets and weddings. For weddings it gives a more relaxed, family style service. The boards are placed in the centre of the table for guests to help themselves too, creating a more niche atmosphere.

Hog Roast Harrow on the HillHog Roast Harrow on the Hill’s antipasti platter consists of a range of gourmet food including a selection of fine Italian meats. The selection of meats include prosciutto, Parma ham and salami. Hog Roast Harrow on the Hill sometimes also add pepperoni and chorizo as these also compliment the other meats. A medley of fine cheeses are added onto the platter including gorgonzola, Parmigiano-Reggiano and buffalo mozzarella. In the past, customers have requested French brie and mature cheddar as either a substitute or an addition. We can, tailor your antipasti platter if you would prefer different options, just ask! These fine cheeses and meats are served with normal and stuffed olives, cheese stuffed peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and rocket.

Hog Roast Harrow on the Hill’s local bakery bakes fresh artisan breads for this menu. It gives the board a rustic finish. Some of breads are herb focaccia and ciabatta. Bread sticks are also part of this menu. One customer requested hummus and flat bread as part of their antipasti platter which Hog Roast Harrow on the Hill of course obliged to. Extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar are also placed on the table for guests to help themselves.

The antipasti platter is a superb starter for guests or as part of a buffet spread. It always goes down well with the guests. The tables are laid beforehand when it comes to weddings so a starter plate is ready for the guests to use along with cutlery and a napkin.

Hog Roast Harrow on the Hill serves the delicious food on rustic wooden platters and makes the presentation divine. If guests don’t particularly like any of the food, they will try it as it will look to good not to!

For any vegetarian guests, a separate cheese plate with the addition accompaniments will be made so that they don’t miss out.
